Van Buren Visitors Center/Museum
The Van Buren visitors center is located at the corner of Main St and Walnut St, just south of I-44. The museum is open 9-5 M-F, 1-5 Sat. You can check out their calendar here.

Stobb Area Pioneer Cemetery
The cemetery is located on the corner of Dewitt Avenue and Stobb Road in Van Buren. The site itself was a gift from William Stobb to the city, which was then named after him. In addition to serving as a burial ground for those who served in battle during World War II, many notable people are buried here including:

- James A. Rockwell – director of Arkansas State Hospital (then known as Arkansas Hospital for the Insane)

Located in the heart of downtown, Van Buren’s historic district is one of the most popular destinations for visitors. Van Buren City Skate Park

Historic King Opera House
The Historic King Opera House is a unique building in Van Buren. Built-in 1894, it has been used for a variety of different events over the years. It has been used as a dance hall, movie theater, and even an auto showroom at one point.
The theatre currently hosts live performances such as acting and plays. It also hosts events like the annual King County Fair each year.
This historic building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
Crawford County Courthouse
The Crawford County Courthouse was built in 1867, and it is one of the oldest courthouses still standing today. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 as part of an effort to preserve important historical sites throughout Arkansas. The courthouse is located at 200 West Second Street, and it is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed on weekends).
VB Antique Mall & Marketplace
The VB Antique Mall & Marketplace is located just west of the town square. It has a plethora of antiques, collectibles, and memorabilia. You can take your time wandering through the many rooms full of vintage items, but it will likely take you at least an hour to see everything. The vendors change their stock often so there’s always something new to see!

Old Frisco Station Museum
This museum is a collection of artifacts from the Frisco Railroad, including old railroad cars and locomotives. The museum is located in a historic train depot and features exhibits about the history of Van Buren’s railroads as well as military hardware from World War II. In addition to its exhibits, the museum also has a gift shop and cafe.
Davis Field Airport & Aviation Museum
The Davis Field Airport & Aviation Museum is Van Buren’s most popular attraction. It’s the oldest airport in Arkansas and boasts a collection of historical aircraft, such as an original World War II Spad fighter plane. Visitors can explore the museum or take flight on one of its vintage planes, which are available for rental at the museum’s gift shop by appointment only. The museum also has a restaurant and flight simulator available for use by anyone who purchases tickets to visit it.
